Prosthetic Dental Treatment - Estetik Dental Group

Like our bodies, our teeth deteriorate with age. We may experience aches and pains, stiffness in our limbs, a sense of weakness, wrinkles, and age spots, among other things as we age. Your teeth can experience similar problems; they may weaken; they can develop chips, cracks, and other blemishes; they can fall out; their enamel may become thinner, which makes them less protected. Today, we respond to your inquiries regarding prosthetic dental treatment.

What Is Prosthetic Teeth Treatment?

People who have lost one or more teeth can benefit from the prosthetic dental treatment, which can restore some of their lost life comfort. It is a common technique for tooth loss. One of the main reasons it is frequently chosen is that it can be used in various ways and circumstances.

Prosthetic dental treatment with prosthetic teeth replaces the missing teeth and regenerates missing oral tissues, it also reestablishes the patient’s aesthetic appearance and lost functions like speaking and chewing.

What Are The Options For Prosthetic Treatment In Turkey?

By rebuilding the missing teeth and oral supporting tissues, prosthetic dental treatment aims to restore the patient’s lost phonation, function, and aesthetics. There are many different types of prosthetic teeth available today. The stage of preparation is initiated after considering several variables, including the patient’s mouth structure, demands, and present jaw structure.  These prosthetic dentures are evaluated using three categories.

Fixed Dental Prostheses

Fixed dental prostheses can be used to replace broken or missing teeth. Because they are permanently bonded to the patient’s natural teeth or artificial roots, they are referred to as fixed because the patient cannot remove them.

Another type of fixed prosthesis is the aided krone. For teeth with severe caries and discoloration, porcelain crown treatment is the best choice to achieve a healthy and aesthetic appearance.

 Motion Prosthetics

The removable denture, also known as a “denture” by the general public, is not fixed in the mouth. These artificial teeth, which require routine cleaning after use, are used to solve chewing or speech issues brought on by tooth loss and achieve a more aesthetically pleasing oral appearance. Removable dentures come in a variety of styles.

  Partial Prostheses

They are removable partial prostheses, they’re used to fill in the gaps left by one or many missing teeth. It is typically made of acrylic material or from a single casting. We can say that the main teeth are connected to the prosthetics by crochet wires. We can still classify it as a prosthesis method even though it isn’t currently favored for aesthetic reasons.

Immediate Prostheses

Patients may not want to be toothless if all their primary teeth need to be removed. Immediate prostheses are useful in situations like these. As soon as the teeth are removed, these prosthetics are fitted. The prostheses that the patient will use continuously are prepared once the healing process is complete and the tissues are no longer compatible with these devices.

Dental Protheses

When the mouth has many teeth or roots, overdentures may be the best option. Dentures attach to tooth roots or natural teeth. It is not possible to say that it is a highly favored application.

Top Implant Prostheses

Ceramic dental restorations like crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays are produced in topped furnaces. High temperatures and pressures can be reached in furnaces to process ceramic material into a final, hardened state.

These artificial teeth, called implant teeth, can be prepared as fixed or removable options. When there are no teeth in the mouth, movable ones—which resemble total dentures—are used. Porcelain crowns, known as fixed ones, are fitted over one or more teeth.

How to Care for Prosthetics?

  1. As advised by dentists, people who wear removable dentures should clean them after every meal. If not, food residue builds up in the prosthesis’ lower portion.
  1. Dentures should be taken out and kept in water each night to prevent bad breath.
  1. Some cleaning solutions shorten the lifespan of the denture by wearing down the teeth. To clean the prosthesis, avoid using detergents or bleach in particular. As opposed to this, the prostheses should be kept overnight along with antibacterial care tablets designed specifically for dental prosthetics. People who wear total dentures in particular need to brush and clean their dentures twice daily with a cleaning gel. You should also choose the right brushes for the prosthesis when using a brush.

4.To prevent the denture from breaking while you brush it, keep it in a denture towel or denture cup.

  1. Every six months, prosthetic users should visit the dentist for a checkup. Our dental prosthetics will last a long time if you follow these five suggestions.
